17 Products You Can Switch With Essential Oils

Essential oils can be used in place of many commercial products. Oftentimes, you can expect to experience the same or even better results when you replace the following things with homemade versions that contain essential oils.
1. Body Lotion
You can make DIY body lotion in your own kitchen in minutes, using items you already have. Take one jar of your favorite unscented body lotion and add 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Pleasing scents to use for homemade body lotion include sweet orange essential oil, grapefruit essential oil, and bergamot essential oil with cinnamon leaf essential oil if the lotion is for a man.
2. Skin Salve

½ cup jojoba oil
½ cup almond oil
