  With warmer weather fast approaching, it’s crucial you look your best before you hit the beach! Check out these ab workouts that will help you get in the best shape for swimsuit season.   Side Plank   swimsuit season   Planks help strengthen your inner core which results in noticeable, defined abdominals. You first want to start in the high plank position, keeping a straight line from your head to your heels. Then slowly rotate your body, lifting your arm off the ground, reaching straight up in the air. Make sure your body is still in a straight line and hold for at least 30 seconds; if you’re a beginner, hold this position as long as you can. For visual instructions, watch video here.     Russian Twist   swimsuit season   To blast belly fat, this 2-in-1 ab workout is perfect to get you ready for swimsuit season. Sit down on the floor and gently lean back until you ca n feel your core tighten. Then simply reach around from one side of your body to the other. Make sure you remain in the same position throughout the whole time. If you want a more advanced option, raise your feet off the ground, as well as using light weights. Simply lie flat on your back with knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Then place both your hands behind your head. Slowly life both feet until your thighs are vertical to the floor and your knees are bent at 90-degrees. Make sure your toes are pointing away from your body. Then bring one knee up to meet the opposite elbow and rotate torso. Do these reps on each side. It’s the perfect workout to get you ready for swimsuit season. Simply lie on your back and put your hands behind your head for support. Extend your legs straight up in the air, with a slight bend to the knee. Then lift your torso toward your knees. It’s important to keep your chin off your chest so you don’t interrupt your breathing. It’s a great motivation to get in shape for beach weather. Simply lie flat on your back holding a medicine ball at chest level. Lift your shoulders off the floor and crunch. At the top of your crunch, throw the medicine ball to your friend. Repeat and complete as many as you can.
