How To Use

The sharp sweetness of our pure Lemon Essential Oil’s aroma leaves you with a mouthwatering fruity scent. The fragrance of our cold-pressed, natural Lemon Oil (Citrus limon) is just as cleansing as it is uplifting. Lemon Oil helps stimulate the lymph glands, and aids as an excellent remover of toxins. It assists in rejuvenating energy and can help purify the skin. The component d-limonene, which is found in Lemon Oil, has potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that can help boost the immune system and aid in providing stress relief.

Use in a diffuser or humidifier to waft Lemon Oil’s bright scent in home or office; use in a carrier oil to disinfect and cleanse skin, or put a few drops in a carrier oil to create a lovely smelling furniture polish.

Lemon oil has the following therapeutic properties: Analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antidepressant, antioxidant, antispasmodic, antiviral, astringent, cooling, immunostimulant, and supports the liver.

Some of the earliest traces of lemon were found in China, India, Arabia and the Mediterranean. The lemon has made its way into paintings and scrolls from the earliest of times. Containing 71 percent of the daily dosage of Vitamin C per lemon, it has prevented scurvy. It has been consumed in all forms, and now Lemon Oil is used to increase blood circulation and as a powerful antiseptic.

Inhalation of Lemon Oil’s fragrance can help with morning sickness, weight management and anxiety. Use in a standard or Bluetooth oil diffuser, or place one-to-two drops in the palm of your hand and inhale deeply.

Shelf Life: When stored in a dark cool environment, Lemon oil will have a shelf life of approximately two years upon opening.

Topical and aromatic use only. Always dilute in carrier oil prior to using. Lemon is phototoxic (when used in a blend at more than 12 drops per 1 ounce/30 ml). Otherwise non-toxic, though it may cause skin irritation. Use in low dilution (1-2 percent) when applying to the skin, such as in bath or massage oils. Older, oxidized oils increase the potential for skin irritation. Always test for skin sensitivity prior to use. Do not ingest orally and keep out of eyes, ears and nose. Excessive use of any oil can lead to sensitization.
